How to Wear & Care For Your Face Mask

One of my apparel design professors from Cornell requested a custom illustration for Cornell’s farm worker program. She and her colleague are furiously sewing masks to help these workers protect themselves and their loved ones from the coronavirus. Many are fearful, have already witnessed new cases and some are illiterate. Hopefully, this will help!

Christmas Tuba

Last night, I saw my friend play in Coastal Wind’s Holiday Concert at an old church in New Gloucester, ME. I set up my easel and went to drawing in charcoal. I gave the audience something to watch and the drawing to the nice Tubist lady. Thank you to the band!

Monology ... is it Catching?

I'll be a "monologist" for an improv comedy show in South Portland on Thursday, 5, 2019. That means, I'll be telling weird and funny stories (from my 6 years in Maine) and Yes&Co will "take inspiration” and perform favorite bits

Ohhhh, if you need more improv comedy, Check out Portland Maine’s own The Fresnel Theater in downtown Portland. Great shows!

$942 to go to Non-Profits

During my August 2019 UMVA exhibit, I “live painted” portraits of friends who work for or support non-profits and auctioned them off to the highest bidder. All proceeds are going to their causes. Thanks to all of the winning bidders!

Drawing Podcasting Heroes

In early November 2019, the brilliant comedians of my favorite political podcast Mueller, She Wrote, allowed me to “sketchnote” their live podcast taping at City Winery in Boston. Drawing the inflated butts of their jokes felt like second-nature. Here’s to a second Webby Award for them in 2020!
