I pass this mysterious, white billboard during my morning commute in Albany, N.Y.
Day after day, I celebrate its emotional use of illustration, but mourn its ambiguity and lost chance to make an impact. Outdoor advertising at full speed offers no time for subtlety, much less time to absorb children’s rhymes in delicate text.
I hope this exercise will cause organizations to avoid cutting & pasting ad campaign assets without fully considering their context.
